The Sussex & Kent ME/CFS Society in partnership with leading national charities Action for M.E. (AfME) and Association for Young people with ME (AYME) are holding a regional conference at Hove Town Hall on October 7th in the afternoon. Main speakers will include Dr Gabrielle Murphy, Dr Keith Hine and Health Researcher Dr Zoe Gotts.
Dr Murphy, lead clinician of the CFS/ME service at London’s Royal Free Hospital will give a presentation about the diagnosis and treatment of the illness. Dr Hine will talk about his experience of ME/CFS since becoming a hospital consultant in Sussex 28 years ago. Dr Zoe Gotts, lead researcher at Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research along with Sonya Chowdhury (AfME) and Mary Jane Willows (AYME) will give an overview of the UK CFS/ME Research Collaborative’s aims and progress so far along with research initiatives and much more.
