A new Yoga drop-in class has recently formed in Hove to help people affected by ME or chronic fatigue syndrome towards better health.
The classes are led by a qualified teacher with a good knowledge and understanding of ME or CFS and fibromyalgia. The classes are welcoming and supportive and encourage people to work at their own pace. This is an opportunity for people to truly relax and enjoy gently moving with the breath, which often creates calm in the mind. With expert guidance from a qualified yoga teacher, each session aims to leave people feeling relaxed and energized.
Colin Barton chairman of the Sussex ME Society that helped secure funding for the project said: “Specialized Yoga classes have shown to benefit many affected by ME and helped them towards improved health.“
The hour long sessions are held on Mondays from 2pm at the Cornerstone Community Centre Church Road Hove. Call Becky on 07908732033 for information.
